The difference a few months made to Anthony Watkins at TU meant all the world in his performance. He went from being a backup rotation guy to being The Guy at running back for Tulsa. Watkins now clearly is the leader for the Hurricane at running back in what second-year TU coach Kevin Wilson believes is a talented room that should excel in 2024.

So he's more concerned with the DB's than the DT's. Will be interesting to figure out if DB's are really bad or if DT's are better than my impression of what they could be.

It seems like he really likes Williams a lot at DT. He wasn't a fan of the transfer portal DT's who left. Never count out adding another DB just before camp starts. It happens.
