Playing at Northern Illinois in DeKalb, 65 miles west of downtown Chicago, at 11 a.m. Saturday morning is a big game for TU football in coach Kevin Wilson's inaugural season for Tulsa.
TBH, that's a "we have no idea how to handicap this game" line. Nobody knows what TU has because we played a severely overmatched FCS opponent, and 2 top 15 teams in our 1st 3 games and they went pretty much exactly how people thought they were going to go. NIU, beats an ACC team and then turns around and loses to an FCS team. And then got physically beat up by an avg to poor B1G team.TU really does need to win this game. Can't believe NIU is favored by 4 points. That is a little insulting. These are type of games teams need to win. Pretty evenly matched, but as a program, Tulsa should be better. We will see.
