Chris Paul carrying pads. If they get him playing at left guard next to Charles Leno, Chris will have a good football career in the NFL. He is starting to make a name for himself out here in the DMV!

So yesterday there was a 53 man projection out and it has Paul on the bubble to make the roster after they acquired 3 O lineman. They moved him to right guard for the game tonight and no one has gotten past him. I am excited for Tuesday to see if he makes the roster

Wow, I didn't get the impression he was on the bubble b4. Interested to see how that comes out.

Rookie low round draft choices are always on the bubble no matter how well they play. Even if they play well in camp, their value in potential is often greater for another club than the value of a proven NFL free agent back up. So they get dealt to a team that is desperate or impatient and you bring in a proven guy for cheaper to provide depth.

We are notorious for keeping our 7th round picks. That makes me hopeful. If his name hits the 53 man roster Tuesday. My Jersey will be purchased that night. Lol

You mean Gus, lol
That 7th round pick played 14 yrs in the NFL and could have been a couple more if he wanted to keep playing. Every team wants/needs that back up QB if their main guy goes down. It's why the Pats still have Brian Hoyer and why McCown played 14+ yrs in the NFL and still probably had a call or two for this season.

If Paul doesn't make the initial roster, the WAS football team will most assuredly try to sign him to their practice squad but I wouldn't be surprised to see a team snag him off the waiver wire and keep him on their 53 all season.

If they put him on the PS I am going to be seven shades of Livid. Also, If they put him on the PS, he will be on there all of 5 minutes if the teams are actually watching the games.

Current depth chart has him the backup at left guard behind Andrew Norwell. This is a very unofficial depth chart. On that, Norwell has been in the league for 8 years now. Only 3 years has he played every game. The right side of our line have players that have had to miss time. I would not be surprised if Paul gets put on the right side of the depth chart. Paul should be able to get plenty of playing time. I am ordering my jersey this weekend.
