If you were building and All-Time fantasy team using only TU players, what would yours look like?

I think we should update and add an Oline and Hback/Fullback slotI’ll take the 91 defense for sure. Where do you put Big Play Clay since no H-Back slot?
I know a guy named DreDogg who might qualify for the O-line stuff lolI think we should update and add an Oline and Hback/Fullback slot
Dennis Byrd was a stud! ( RIP) he was a great guy and got to hunt with him. Very solid human beingThe funny thing is I don't remember one guy in the secondary when I was in school. But I remember the big boys up front and Hammer White anchoring the backers. I think our front seven was so good in 91 that Gino the Jackass Toretta didn't have time to find his receivers.
Might try to find a spot for Wes Hamilton at OG, he was taken in the 3rd round and played 9 seasons for the Vikings.Tackles - Jerry Ostroski, Tyler Smith
Guards - Tyler Bowling, David Alexander
Center - Derek Warehime
TE - Garrett Mills
QB - TJ Rubley
FB/HB - Charles Clay
RB - Chris Hughley (This was the toughest one for me to pick)
WR - Howard Twilley, Brennan Marion
Might try to find a slot for Ray Rhodes, as he played RCB for 4 seasons with the Giants.DE - Trevis Gipson, Don Blackmon
DT - Dennis Byrd, Bob St Clair
LB - Barry Minter, Zaven Collins, Chris Chamberlain
DB - Lovie Smith, Todd Franz, Bobby Blackshire, Dexter McCoil
Theres about 30 dudes it hurt to leave off, but that’s my defense.

Offense too, I assume.Theres about 30 dudes it hurt to leave off, but that’s my defense.
The question is are you talking true fantasy team or Best All Time TU players at their positions. Fantasywise it seems a no brainer that Brennan Marion would be on the list because of the insane yards per catch avg and the number of times he found the end zone on long plays (bonus points). And I think I'd put Clay in as RB2 since he was technically listed as an H-Back and would qualify for a RB spot. And remember, most fantasy systems combine the Defense with a S/T. You're looking at 2012 probably or 2005.Qb - Rhome
Rb1 - Lacy
Rb2 - T Adams
Wr1 - Largent
Wr2 - D. Johnson
Wr3 - Pearson
TE - Mills
Defense - 2020
Kicker - Staurovsky (although I think we could have a new contender for #1 kicker after this season)
Narrowing this down to to 3 wide receivers was the hardest part for me. I could have easily went 6 or 7 deep.
Dennis Hickey and Mike Haenszel were part of the DBs in '91 and '92. They were also damn good basketball players. James Blake was as well but I think he played sparingly in '92 and started at a spot in '93 for sure along with Willie Hill. The funny thing is I don't remember one guy in the secondary when I was in school. But I remember the big boys up front and Hammer White anchoring the backers. I think our front seven was so good in 91 that Gino the Jackass Toretta didn't have time to find his receivers.

Great points. Lots of guys I considered. In the end, with the exception of Twilley and St Clair, I broke ties by asking myself “1. Did you see them live. 2. When you saw them live, was their individual performance against elite competition instrumental in the TU win?Might try to find a spot for Wes Hamilton at OG, he was taken in the 3rd round and played 9 seasons for the Vikings.
It was a tough list for sure. At times I maybe was more partial to players I may have seen play in person, than those that may have been more deserving.I’m surprised there has been no mention of Penn or Bitson.
My father said that Billy Anderson was the best QB that he ever watched play here, and he saw a bunch of them.
Nothing against Dan, he was a classmate, but he was not the best wideout in Oklahoma when he was playing here. (Reasonable minds can disagree on that). Great great player, but not the best we’ve ever seen. And we’ve had several in the conversation for best in the country when they were playing.I’m surprised there has been no mention of Penn or Bitson.

I’d still vote for him based on the Texas A&M and Southern Miss games alone.Chris had a great NFL career, but only one solid season at Tulsa on a losing team where he was the focus of the offense. He might not have started on the 2008 team.
Fair.I’d still vote for him based on the Texas A&M and Southern Miss games alone.
He didn’t get much help from his QB after that season.
Bitson was phenomenal beyond most of our WR. If he had had a senior season and pro career minus that wreck, I think he would have been on a lot of fantasy lists.I’m surprised there has been no mention of Penn or Bitson.

You’d be surprised how many records he still holds. But in the end I had to put him, Nelson Coleman or Zaven in the middle. And Zaven changed games. Changed seasons even. What about Shawn Jackson?!?! I’ll never forget his Pick 6 at Notre Dame. I’m pretty certain I lost my voice screaming the entire 60-70 yards he returned that. It was such a crazy play. He was an athletic freak in a fat boy’s body.
All 3 great MLBs but I agree if you’re picking only one of the 3 Zaven was the best. You’d be surprised how many records he still holds. But in the end I had to put him, Nelson Coleman or Zaven in the middle. And Zaven changed games. Changed seasons even.
