Nebraska is way worse than Kansas in terms of seeing absolutely nothing. I-80 from Kearney to Ogallala is legitimately the worst drive in all of America in terms of boredom.

I typically go Wichita to Salina, then Salina all the way to Denver if I'm in a hurry. It's a long route, but you have a stop in the middle around Liman. The best route (in terms of most to see) to get up to Yellowstone is actually going along the old Oregon trail route through Ash Hollow NE, Chimney Rock @ Scottsbluff Nebraska, Ft. Laramie in Wyoming. If I'm not in a hurry, I typically skip Cheyenne altogether.

I know lol, but we are going through it to get to the southern part of Colorado
Enjoy the smell. I've driven Tulsa to Lamar, CO twice. The smell, if you're a city boy like me, is unique and nauseating. And the Arkansas River in Lamar is about as wide as Admiral at Lewis and about as deep as the puddle at the foot of my driveway each morning due to the neighborhood watering everything

I live on a farm , it smells like money to me 😂, if you went to Lamar, you probably went through the Oklahoma Panhandle and passed one of those plants that smell like bad dog food, if that’s the case , then yes , that is a terrible smell ! We are going through New Mexico and up I-25 by Raton. A lot of Colorado is extremely boring until you get into the Rockies

Actually we went through Wichita--Dodge City--Garden City...the drive between Dodge City and Lamar is easily the worst, most boring I've ever endured.

Ya it’s pretty boring out that way, when I was in college , I interned out in the Oklahoma Panhandle , it was kind of cool for a few days but by the end of the 8 week internship , I was convinced this is where people come to die

#56 has moved on. That should save at least a couple penalties per game.
56‘s style lends itself much more to the NFL. College? 56 was a penalty machine.

Just cutting down on the shear amount of penalties will help the offense. Depth and a “quality” starting five on the offensive line are the question marks.

ESPN still shows the line at TU by 1.5
Wyo is a 10 point underdog the first week at Illinois. That game will move the TU line.

TU 30 Wyo 28 late 35 yard FG wins

Wyoming has a big advantage playing a game before us. Teams make significant improvement game 1 to 2. Coach Bohl is a very good coach, second game vs first game and the altitude all play into Wyoming’s favor. Monty better have the team ready to play, have a solid game plan and not make “what the heck” play calls if we expect to win.

Frankly,
I don’t have enough confidence in the offensive play calling to call this a W.
First game on the road, a lot of new players, new DC.

If the offense is called as it should be,
TU - 38
WY - 20

If not,
TU - 24
WY - 31

Altitude and transfers will be a factor. This offense is predicated on dominant offensive line play. We have so many new starters there. There’s just so many questions. Wyoming also is rebuilding. This game doesn’t really tell us much about who we are. We come back at the end with a late TD.
