We have a murderer's row coming up. Still I would love for some magic, even if it means keeping our coach. I rarely love firing somebody though it is sometimes necessary, and I say that both as a fan and in my business life.

Quarterfinals are today. the second game of each session will start 20 minutes after the conclusion of the first game or the scheduled start time whichever is later.

Great games yesterday. They were all close. the biggest margin of victory was Cincinnati over ECU but it was close most of the game. Tulsa won its first tournament game since the 2016-2017 season. Two years ago when the pandemic hit, Tulsa was the co champs and the 3 seed in the tournament. They would have faced ECU or Memphis. That year we were beating both of those teams. Then we would face Houston who we had split with. The 2020 season could have been special if not for the pandemic.

NET Movements
Houston - Down 1
Cincinnati - Up 2
Tulane - Down 2
Temple - Even
Tulsa - Up 11
SMU - Up 1
UCF - Up 1
Memphis - Even

Not looking too good for Houston. Down five just before halftime, and Houston is in major foul trouble. Five of their 8 players have 2 fouls. Cincinatti has looked like the aggressor due to their foul trouble, and playing w/ chip on their shoulder. We'll see how much they can avoid fouls second half, and still be aggressive.

Cincy up 7 on Houston with 17 min left in the 2nd. Does anyone else sense that Houston seems to have a slow leak right now? They've not looked like the juggernaut they did earlier this season for the last 2-3 weeks

Tulame has jumped out to an early lead
This is going to be one of those knock down drag out games. Finesse is not in their vocabulary. And I'm not really sure how either of these teams finished as high as they did. Tulane's conference record was 10-8 and they had some huge wins. Temple just looked like a bad team whenever I saw them.

Watching Ron Hunter on the sideline is truly entertaining. Seriously ESPN should have a Ron cam and mic him and just have an entire channel where you can watch that for 2 hours. Bet you could guess the score of the game within 5 points by watching that

Why the hell hasn't Gaston-Chapman played more this season? I didn't realize he was as big as he is

It’s going to be a tough night. SMU has already had 2 threes that hit the back of the rim, bounced off the top of the backboard and fell through. Also that foul earlier on Chapman was a clean strip.

So something I've noticed the last 2 days...we are actually moving our feet in defense and getting in great defensive position.
