How about approaching Gregg Marshall as the new coach if Frank is let go.

Someone is going to give him a second chance, ala Kelvin Sampson, and he’s gonna win big…why not us?

This happens a lot…Kelvin, Bruce Pearl, Ben Howland to name a few. I know some around here will frown on this, but I think it would be a fantastic route to take.

Kelvin was texting. Marshall was abusive to players. Big difference. Bruce Pearl was abusing NCAA rules, Marshall was abusive to the kids. Otherwise I agree with you about second chances.

The fact that Wojcik hasn't had a second chance anywhere even as a full assistant tells me that physical altercations with players will not be overlooked at NCAA schools. That being said, Marshall is a really good coach and would probably win a ton of games for us. It's just unfortunate that he had that incidence.

I don't think Wojick is a good example. If you're going to give a guy a second chance, it's not going to be a CBI level coach with a history of threatening to sue his employers... I'd have a lot less problem with Marshall than Briles, though I'm not sure there's any logical reason to feel that way.

Incidence or incident? Incidence doesn't really make sense gramatically. Incident probably doesn't make sense definitionally. I doubt it was one incident. He's not likely to blow up just that one time. That was just what was brought into public knowledge. Doubt it was just a one time deal.

Apologies for the grammatical error. Are we talking about Woj or Marshall?

The obvious reason you'd feel that way is that most men, including Marshall and Briles, wouldn't be aroused by the idea of shaking Coach K's hand. Dougie on the other hand probably hasn't washed that dirty hand in years...
