The announcers were just incredulous when the Tulane field goal kicker couldn’t even make the extra point length field goal.

The announcer said it best at the end of the game:” Tulsa tried to give the game away time and again…”

Has anyone ever heard of a team winning a game with a turnover margin of -4?
I've never witnessed it until tonight. Ever. In pro or college. Technically -5 if you include the pathetic *** onside kick botch job

Yep noon tomorrow
That’s what I thought, but the announcers during the football game kept saying it was on tonight at 8PM. 😆

By the second half they must have felt like they were being tortured anyway.

They just have to say what’s on the prompter

This is the most limited and predictable offense on down and distance I have ever seen. The defense knows exactly what plays are being run, and the routes. The kids barely have a chance from the start. Of course we will have problems on offense with 2nd and 3rd and long and plenty of interceptions.

Your “Golden Boy” Davis Brin gifted Tulane with 3 interceptions…threw the ball right to them . He had
a piss poor performance

At least someone recognizes that 30%+ of the blame for Brin's interceptions lays on the HC/OC.

I like it, let's go with -5... One for each letter in F-U-B-A-R

Apparently he leads all of FBS in interceptions after tonight's game. The only thing "golden" about him is the lettering on his pants. And I didn't recruit the guy, so he's not "mine". We haven't had much luck at the QB position since Dane Evans was here.

It's 2021, we should celebrate EVERY achievement someone has. Leading the NCAA in a category is something Monty can put on his resume!

Braylon Braxton just might be the future QB for us. Not only can he run it, but the kid can throw it too. All those liking a dual purpose guy, which we rarely have, should keep an eye on him.
Those are the hardest QBs to defend. Some are just runners lined up a QB with average skills passing at best. Others are passers but can run out of necessity (Dane Evans). The true dual threat makes D-Coordinators cringe.

There’s a lot of people on here ready to dump Brin who thought he was gonna win us 10 games this year. The same people who wanted to bench a five year senior with legit NFL aspirations, something that is solid gold to college coaches. Because Brin hit a hole in one with his eyes closed when there was nobody left to turn to. The same people who said Dane had arm strength but no talent when he was a freshman and a sophomore. These are symptoms not the disease. He’s recruited poorly and failed to develop (Boomer, Skipper, President, Brin if you really want to throw him in there and I don’t). There’s nothing to suggest that Braxton will be any better, seeing how he was offered by 14 lesser programs, plus Memphis and ASU in way down recruiting years.

And that’s because it’s the offense and the people recruiting into it. The only legit QB this offense has ever recruited into it is Case Keenum, maybe Bryce Petty if you really want to count him. Kolb signed with Houston their first year after Tech said he wouldn’t ever be the starter snd his Dad knew Briles. RGIII was already on the roster at Baylor when Briles got there same with Dane.

Now those guys running the offense made it work. But it has been terrible at every other school when someone other than a future professional QB is running it.

It’s not the driver. It’s the car and the mechanic.

And yet we ran the same exact play twice with him. So predictable the second time.

I bought a FatHead of the wrong player. I should have gone with Player! Does Brin throw more interceptions than Gus Ferotte?
