Meinhard was also named AAC Conference Offensive POY and AAC Rookie of the Year.

What is Meinhard's status for tonight's game. I know he didn't play against USF and TU struggled to create the consistent attack they'd shown throughout the season with Meinhard. Temple's defense is really stingy (TU didn't score against Temple in 2 games this season) so TU will need all they have to create chances while not compromising their defensive shape.

Meinhard had an early shot on goal. Tulsa has looked like the better team so far. Temple has barely crossed midfield.

Tulsa has probably had 80% of the possession so far and look really in control but not generating many real threats in the attacking 1/3. Temple's whole game plan is to not give up any goals and play a la Leicester City to find a ball over the top and see if one of their fast forwards can find some space. So far Temple has played a ton of balls over the top to no one in particular. I hate games like this because the team with most of the possession starts to press to find a goal and usually end up leaving a crack open for a counter and one of the prayerful over the top balls finds a forward and a 1 v 1 opportunity.

GK made two saves in the shootout and one Temple player was too amped and rocketed a ball off the crossbar.

Both semi's went to PKs. UCF took down SMU in the 2nd game winning PK shootout 4-3. ESPN app is worthless for reporting scores for games that don't involve P5s as they reported SMU won in PKs.

should be a good matchup for TU. Tulsa has won the previous two games vs the Knights.
