I hope this us not a rerun like when Rhome and Twilley both got cheated out of the Heisman during their senior years in back to back seasons....
Butkus should have been 2nd in the voting behind Rhome....
And the Notre Dame “RUMMY” won with a fabulous 5-5 team record.
Big Time Fraud
I have no idea if Coach Rhome spoke to the team, but I always imagine to myself back in 2010 in South Bend, Coach Graham getting the team circled up for the pre-game prayer and once they are on one knee, instead of Todd turning to the pastor, he introduces Jerry who opens with “Let me tell you what I know about what Notre Dame thinks of you ...”
We complain a lot about the press, and rightfully so. But when it comes to sports bias, you get a lot more of that from coaches and administrators.
