They have a decent to good big man, Keyshawn Bryant (#24). Playing any team with an above average big man makes me nervous until Ugboh or Idowu can show they can box out and defend good bigs. I know Samuel for TCU is a real talent but you can’t allow anybody to have 18 boards in a game.

I should caveat the above that it is based on me looking at the box score, so if I’m off base please put me in my place. I won’t argue needlessly with you that I’m right :).

You are most definitely right, the box score is sufficient.

Might see a little more Richie and Urbancic today if starters are not shooting well. These two are supposed to be great shooters. I really like Urbancic. Very young but does everything right.

Bryant is a much different player than Samuels. He’s not as bulky and spends more time out from under the basket. It will be interesting to see how we handle that type of big man which is much more like we’ll see from Cincinnati and Houston.

I finally found the English broadcast. What is this, UTEP?

When it went to the break, the announcer said something about so-and-so being hot for the Cox. So evidently there is also a Penthouse broadcast. Man, they have everything nowadays.

These refs are garbage. That’s obviously a foul. To call a tech there when the other team has Frank Martin is just wrong. And this is after the questionable tech on KES last night. I’m going to say it: there’s a bias issue and I have to wonder what it is.

Frank Martin looks like Col. Kurtz in some sort of Apocalypse Now prequel. “The horror, the horror.”
