It wasn’t the score it was getting a little too conservative and putting the game in jeopardy. He is a very good coach but like I said he almost pulled a Monty.

I didn't think SMU played all that well on either side of the ball. Drops on wide open plays, their D was a complete wreck. Buechele made some horrific decisions as well. As much as I hate SMU, I'm hoping they run the table and get the NY6 bid. They'll probably get paired with Baylor in the Cotton Bowl which would be fun for a number of different reasons.
