CBS Sports is saying that he is leaving. Another (unconfirmed report) saying he was at OU over the weekend.Wow! That's definitely a game we should win. Their defense definitely in the can, now one of their offense's only saving graces is redshirting, so the offense goes in the can too.
NM on the OU stuff...someone was clowning. Personally, I don't think King is a next level QB. Supremely gifted athlete, yes, but his future isn't the QB position. Not sure why OU would take him. If he goes there, Rattler is gone
I think you're right. It wouldn't surprise me if they go all in on the academics and graduate and then use the grad transfer rule.I think the two players are writing off their season with UH and with Holgerson.
And, despite the happy talk about coming back, I wouldn't hold my breath.
This is a really terrible use of the redshirt rule. Weird how the 4th quarter implosion seems to have blown up on UH. Not that I have any sympathy for the program.
The UH game now looks very winnable.
He doesn't need to go anywhere near Florida State. He's not that good and Florida State is something awful. My guess is King gets a shot at TCU if he wants it (their offense always struggles for unbeknownst reasons). The other is Kansas. Throw King back there with Pooka Williams and see what happens.King is still going to transfer. I think he’s backtracking to help his Dad from getting pounded by UH and the press.
King will have graduated by the next football season. He gawn. My guess is Florida State.
That may or may not be trueYou just wanted to say Pooka.
Lol keep thinking that its a guarantee win. Gladly looking forward to handing you boys an L.
Houston ran the ball down their throats. New QB had a 124 passing yds and 100 yds rushing. SMU threw the ball a ton. UNT was able to run the ball with a lot of success against SMU as well.interesting to see that UH pounded North Texas (not so Fine) about the same score that SMU had, both games in Denton.
