Our offense actually did OK getting a couple of 1st downs each drive before we started shooting ourselves in the foot and going backwards. Hopefully Monty keeps the play-calling unpredictable and slows Wyoming’s blitz down. It should also open up some running lanes. The RB screen worked the way it should and caught them in their aggressiveness.
haha. I only turned the game on the last half of that quarter. didnt look too bad lol. tv announcers are saying they are out of RBs.
$hitty play calling by Monty & then he brings in Brooks after a couple of incomplete pass plays. Then he calls a pass play. That's 999/1000 a run play for Monty. Wyoming gets faked out and has bad coverage. That's an awful lot of $hitty play calling for our first TD.
Once again we get the ball back and get in the hurry up, success again. Maybe, just maybe, we should get in the hurry up not just when we are running out of time. Especially when quick plays get the ball out of Smith's hands a little faster.

Just to add here, commentators said the RB that’s in for WYO now isn’t even listed on the depth chart. They didn’t know his name for the only drive he was out there for.
I think the trick is when we come out in the second half someone needs to tell Monty there are two minutes left in the game. By the time he finds out it’s not true we’ll have a 3 TD lead.

OC didn’t have a play ready. And Wyoming took their time getting their defensive subs on the field because they can. And when we’re inside the 20, TK needs to be the featured RB. This is sad he doesn’t get more snaps when he has proven he is effective
