How the hell has our OC/HC not realized they’re going to blitz on 3rd and mid every single time?

And Wyoming is not disguising it at all. Somehow 10k people in the stands all know it’s coming and yet not a single WR runs a hot route and Monty doesn’t ever run the damn screen. All it takes is for the RB to give his guy a go and release flat.
Wyoming coaches and players laughing about blitz effectiveness. Including a ton of **** talking.
Player is like a brick wall when his feet are set. Man he is fun to watch

We need either an OC or HC or both. This crap of trying to do both has to stop.
That was just stupid. It's a 3rd & 3 blitz, you know they are coming from both sides. You know that they are likely to get through quick, from past plays against our OL. You don't get it off quick, you don't roll out of the pocket, you don't throw it away.
What gets me is that the QB is already 5 to 7 yards behind the line of scrimmage. If he was under center he would have been tackled before he took his first step. But the "Baylor" spread is so wide you need a QB with an NFL arm to make the quick slant throws without a pick-6.
I like Monty as a person, but change the offense to fit your player already :weary:

Smiths arm is plenty strong. Wyoming is lining up to take away the slant which is why they’ve batted 4 passes already at the LOS. Not only is Wyoming blitzing in predictable situations, they’re also beating our 5 OL with their 4 DL using various stunts. And our 2 OTs are slow with short arms. They’re getting destroyed with the speed rush moves.
And be thankful our QB is not Chambers. He’s Cody Green terrible when it comes to accuracy.
Edmiston has now been assigned the role of QB spy. And Monty actually did the right thing calling TOs to keep the clock knowing their punting into a stiff breeze.
Smith looking better under pressure. And Crawford had pretty good vision on that. Feeling better if we actually make adjustments at the half...
