So I did some calculations. I ran 50 simulations using NCAA 14 against Michigan state. Then I took that data an piled it into Farmers almanac algorithms for fall 2019. After reviewing the data it was obvious a few changes were necessary (just small changes like bumping up player ratings to 99 and change difficulty to easy).

I was able to come to the conclusion that we have a 50% chance to win, with a +/- 40% error for accuracy.

Yeah, I'm positive he didn't get banned, but I haven't heard from him in a really long time. Not sure where he is or if he's still promoting UFC in Las Vegas, but they might not have intertronz wherever he is.

I do miss him... kept this place pretty lively back in his prime.
Not quite as lively as Chewbacca flying up here to fist fight or causing Pat Jones to have a nervous breakdown on the air, but Typ was still impressive and effing hilarious in his time. Gold* is the standard for lively. 24K.

Though I do like to brag about getting a C&D letter from Yahoo! Corporate and causing them to change their rules just for hijinks I tagged along on with. Not sure anybody can top that on here. Though it would not have been possible without the best of the combat trolls over on the UCF cooligan board. Hate Louisville until I die.

Humor my friend... Until we see the clouds part and the sun come out over 11h and Harvard we all need some.
I'm pretty sure the sun will be out on Sept. 14th and it will be 100 degrees and we'll all bake against OSU all the while TU's concessions will run out of cold bottled water by the end of the 1st quarter...how's that for a prediction.

As well as run out of change for the cash only transactions.

I just have a weird feeling that this is going to be a really low scoring close game. Not saying we will win, but they aren’t explosive AT ALL. So our defense should keep us in it.

No prediction.

I think (hope) our defense is pretty good. If we can limit turnovers, it could be competitive .

IF both defenses are as good as advertised then this could come down to field goals.

That would not be a good thing for TU.

27-17 Sparty. I think the 1st half is close and somewhat boring. I think a couple mistakes on both sides open things up late. Sparty gets a late TD to seal it and make the difference not reflective of how closely the game was played.

We'll need a couple of TO's & are perfectly capable of getting them. It would also be nice if our D scored-capable there, too. Sure hope our FG kicker is up to it. A replay of TX game would send me into a massive depression. TU-23...MickSt-20
I agree, I say TU 27-21!

Ill predict its interesting in the first half as both teams try to figure themselves out. 21-10 at the break with a MSU touchdown just before halftime.

After that, the MSU D line takes over. They look really really really good the more I watch them from last season. I want to pick a TU winner here and I think we’ve got a solid shot at beating the Cowboys with any of the three at QB, but I just see a huge talent disparity on the line. We are gonna need three or more turnovers and a clutch performance from who ever our kicker is going to be in his first game, on the road, against a ranked opponent.

MSU has 4 players on defense that are All American good. Willekes (DE), Williams (DT), Bachie (MLB) and Scott (CB). MSU has two other DTs that are all B1G good. There’s a reason we had the number 1 rushing D last year.

To beat us on D you need the sharp dink and dunk type passing or isolate one of our safeties vs a slot type player 1on1 and hit something vertical.

Well, we will make you defend the rear third of the field on the vertical shot. Our entire offensive strategy is rope a dope 4 yard runs, then deep shots. Trouble is, we don’t have a reliable deep threat that we know of lately.

We do line our wide outs way outside the numbers which forces one or both of your safeties to either cheat down or reveal they are the spy against the RB or keying the ball. So we do more than a few super quick passes way out into the flat to exploit that. They are essentially extended hand off to a WR that becomes a running back.

Huffy, you are one cagey booger. Trying to blow some smoke up poor Sparty JD's nose. Er...no! Honestly & truthfully, I agree. We have no deep threat that Mick St should worry about. Heh, heh, heh!

Don’t you mean if that team hadn’t been cheated out of two games by the cheating refs?
I don’t think the games would have been close enough for the refs to cheat us.

They can’t cheat you as easily if no one can tackle you before you score, or if the other team can’t complete passes.
