We've played nine conference games with nine to go. We are in ninth place.

Here's where it gets wild. All nine games we have played so far have been against teams ahead of us in the standings. Five of the six losses are against the top three, and we had good chances to win against Cincinnati and UCF. It's that sixth loss that really bugs me. SMU is not that good and we got stomped.

Of our remaining nine games, six are against teams below us in the standings. The others are two against Tulane and @Memphis, who we have proved we can beat.

With the emergence of Horne, we are a better team now. 7-2 is definitely doable. 9-0 is possible.

We aren't going 9-0. 8-1 is possible but doubtful. We'll go 7-2 or 6-3.
I’m with you on the 7-2, but really believe it will be 6-3. Seems we have a way of throwing away games in the last couple of minutes, and as we head down the stretch I see several of those opportunities on the schedule.

@ WSU, @Temple, @ Memphis could easily be losses. We rarely win in those places.

I haven't looked this up, but I thought we've won a few @ Temple.

We've won at Temple twice since joining the AAC. Honestly, there's not a single time we've played Temple over the last 5 years in which we should have taken a loss. We choked away two games in Philly in the final moments or we would be undefeated against them.

The SMU loss that you are referencing was on the road two days after we lost in overtime at home to Cincinnati that we should have won. We win tat game against Cincinnati and we might have been talking to a different ball club. We had IMHO the hardest start to conference play of any team in the conference. We got 3 wins out of it but it should have been 5 or 6.

We can win the rest of our schedule. The hardest games we will have left is Temple on the road and is on the road. Wichita State on the road is up in the air but that is a totally winnable game. The problem is we are sucking butt in games on the road.

Utah - should have won
Southern Illinois - Should have won
UCF - we were winning
Nevada - 10 point loss
Houston - we got smacked hard but not as bad as last year
SMU - already mentioned it.
Cincinatti - we were not gonna win that one period.

We have a good ball club and we have talent. We just had too many tough teams too early.

We've got some wild stats through 9 conference games, that's for sure.

First in 3-point percentage.
First in assist percentage.
Last in 2-point percentage.
Last in defensive rebounding.
Last in offensive rebounding.

Damn, that is wild. I think it calls for the infamous celebration gif. Where can I find that thing, ctt?

Tomorrow will be my first test of YouTube TV on AT&T fiber internet as the replacement for my former Spectrum cable abomination. I’ll report back later how that worked, but at half the cost of cable so far the quality is better and selection equal or better to what I had on cable.

My take is we should have won the Cincy game (one stinking free throw) and UCF game (take the damn three) which would have made us 5-4 on the front nine. We go 7-2 on the back nine and we’re on the bubble at 22-9 with possibly 3 Q1 wins and hoping for a good showing in the tourney. Now we pretty much have to go 9-0 the rest of the way and hope K-State kicks *** the rest of the way or win the conference tournament.

YouTube TV is awesome. My one and only complaint is no A&E. LEC gotta have his First 48! So I go back and forth every two months between the YouTube and the Hulu Live

I stream everything using Cox high speed internet. Everything works great (Nexflix, Amazon Prime, etc) except for DirecTV Now.

My Samsung Smart TV only gets the “Beta”version of DirecTV Now, and it’s awful.

Still, streaming is the way to go...way cheaper, and no contractual commitments.

And we’ve wiped the floor with Temple playing in Tulsa.

YouTube TV on AT&T Finer is fantastic. That’s how I’ve been watching TU ESPN sports all season. Also, make sure to set TU as your favorite team and it’ll auto save every game so you can replay them anytime you want.

It’s honestly surprising how well the “Cloud DVR” functionality works, it’s better than what I had when I used Cox.

I tried DirecTV Now before YouTube TV was in my area and it’d buffer a lot for me too. I’ve never had that issue with Hulu Live TV or YouTube TV. I, like LEC, have switched between the two quite a few times.
