We show flashes. Just struggle with consistency. Also make really bonehead plays. Things like Henderson's attempt to make a bounce pass on a 3-1 fast break, Artison catching ball on the wing with foot on the line, Wheeler kicking it out to the corner when he's got a wide open lay-up. Really elementary stuff. We continually shoot ourselves in the foot. We're talented enough to win these games. Hopefully see more of Scott, Joiner, Jackson over Henderson. If Henderson is not hitting threes, he is a liability. Especially on defense/rebounding

The only way I see us winning, or even keeping it close in the second half is us limiting turnovers, keep fighting on the boards & hitting several big 3s!

Finally a three to break the drought. Glad Etou is hitting from three point land.

It's really incredible for kstate to only have 11 points this half. They've gotten an open shot virtually every possession. I will love a win no matter how ugly though. Hope they keep shooting this poorly

K-state 4/31 from 3 and we're going to pull this out. I might have set a record for wrongness in this thread and I am very happy about that

Had some guys step up and KSU didn’t know how to shoot wide open treys.
Won rebounding 40-30!

K-State shot terrible, but they also got some home/neutral cooking much of the game. We made the plays down the stretch that we needed to. Joiner is the future. Igbanu's extended minutes via Jeffries injury. He scores or draws a foul each time he touches the rock. Etou played like a Senior. This can be a season changer going forward.

I hope Igbanu has a good game. Maybe Igbanu and Jeffries will start when he heals up. I realize Haith is nervous putting in 3 bigs and getting into foul trouble, but it ain't working so far.
Bump.

I hope we can handle 4-6 weeks without Jeffries.

Taplin had at least one turnover. Top of the key he lost one attempting a pass. But he did play well in the 2nd half.

Just going by what they credited him with on the stat sheet. Must have given that one to someone else

When I posted this at halftime, I didn't think we would actually do this in the 2nd half! We only had 4 turnovers in the 2nd half, we outrebounded them & we definitely hit some big 3s, especially the last 2 by Joiner!

We should get Jeffries back around the Houston or Wichita St. game. Probably gonna be without for 8 or 9 games.
