Really is the worst defense in the entire country. Time to try the freshman or something else.

I just don't understand why we don't have any safety help on these long throws. It's the same thing game after game.

Yeah... Tulsa/Coach M MUST go for everything... always run 4 plays and only take TDs.

This Tulsa defense is the worse D1 defense I've ever seen. Like... EVER... any team, any year.

Either we learn to pass or pray their defense gets worn down.

Some help from the refs/Toledo self destructing is also welcome.

President could go for 20 every time he held the ball. Toledo is now keyed on the RB.

Brewer should be in the game. Stupid play calling.

Oh well...

Toledo wins by 14+ when all said and done.

Tulsa is a 4-5 win team this year. That defense is ****.

The refs are the only reason we're not losing. We're gonna lose. All they have to do on offense is throw streaks on 1 on 1 coverage. Chad sucks at throwing. Put in skipper.

well...
as least Monty likely does not get a bigger job after this year.
it's likely gonna be a long year... this defense is utter garbage.

I hate this. Just run the triple option. Chad is a fake qb. 4 star bust. So effing pissed at our coaches. Put an actual qb in or go home.

Guys... President is fine.
Tulsa is crap because of its **** D.
President is just fine. Tulsa's offense is fine. Coach needs to play Brewer MUCH MUCH more. But, the offense is good. Complain only about the D.

Where's #85???

Edmiston is playing like he's still in HS and just bigger and better than everyone. The TOL RBs making him look silly out there

They aren't calling the RPO out into the flat. Without that, I don't care how many long throws you complete, you can't consistently run the veer concepts into the interior. It will be stuffed.

This game is winnable but our play calling jogs between ultra aggressive and ultra conservative. We have the talent on the field to outscore them.

Defense? No comment.

I think only 129 teams were ranked for total defense...we were #129. Toledo just crossed 500 yards in the 3rd. Why are we so horrid on d?

The scariest part is apparently our offense struggled to execute against this defense during spring scrimmages.

Agree offense is ok. President is an option qb that can not throw the deep ball. Seen it now for 3 games. Sorry, he may be the best we have, and he does some things very well but his long throws are really bad. The problem is our defense is so bad that we need the deep ball to score a bunch of points.

I swear our DBs haven't turned their heads once this game... Possibly the entire season so far...

We're going to have to gamble on the road. I still can't believe we went for it on fourth down near midfield two drives ago and then kicked the field goal in close. Our D obviously isn't going to stop them so we need a TD each possession.

Coach Monty's defensive skills are about as bad as mine. I could not do any worse. Seriously... I don't think my dog could do worse.
