I'm really looking forward to seeing the new guys play. I think the talent is there, they just need experience. If they can get it together in the early season we could surprise some folks.

With only Etou, TK, Birt, and Taplin as returning rotation pieces to build line-ups
around, and with two, three, or four new faces in the line-up at different times,
Chemistry will indeed be critical....

Early in the season, the coaches will have to walk a tight rope between giving
each of the new players an opportunity, and yet, keeping a tight enough rotation
so that the players on the floor know each others' tendencies and moves....

Could it be they may start out with two basic line-ups to sub in and out of? That
might actually increase the learning curve in getting used to playing with a certain
group of players......

Having four return and eight or nine to replace might well be standard fare for
JUCO coaches, but very unusual at the D-1 level....You have to figure there is a
lot of basic teaching going on this summer....

'Twill be very interesting (and confusing) at first!!
