no real surprises here - TU must be Memphis, then Houston, and (I fear) beat the opponent in the title game to go at large. Maybe if Cinncy knocks of U Conn, then that takes U Conn out. I think the Cinncy is in with a first round win; Temple is in getting to final, TU? I don't know if anything other than a championship does it. Lots of bubble teams in the RPI in non-major conferences ahead of TU - Yale IN already, S Dakota State, Akron, etc. WSU is the #1 seed in the NIT.

I'm nowhere near as knowledgeable at this as 99% of you guys, but I don't see Memphis or Houston as big of a threat as UCONN, or Cincy. I think this could have been much worse for us and I'm very excited to have beat every team in the conference this year after taking down Memphis.

Houston has been playing exceptionally well lately. And Memphis beat ECU so easily today on the road on sr. day. Nothing will be easy.

You could be correct that TU needs to beat a top 50 CIN, Temple, or UCONN to get off the bubble, but in that case TU lands the auto-bid.

Cincinnati and Memphis were the two teams Tulsa needed to avoid early in the ACC tourney. Matchup nightmares for Tulsa. Was pretty sure Tulsa wouldn't see Cincinnati, so that left Memphis. Tulsa gets Memphis. If Tulsa plays a perfect game they might beat Memphis. But get beat in the second round because they are too tired from the last game. Either way Tulsa goes out in the first or second round. I could be wrong hope I am, but I don't think so.

You don't think a neutral court with all our bigs available can make up 10 points?

I like our chances in a neutral floor against everyone in the field except Cincy. Cincy is a bad matchup not to mention they pretty darn good.

Smith a long way from fully available. We need to keep Wright and Swannegan outside the white arc on defense. Which team shoots better from the three will win.

The only thing nightmarish about the Memphis game was the officiating.

I hate to predict, but I really feel TU will win this going away. But the safe approach is a narrow win.

Look at the score under 16 - TU almost always wins if the game is close or TU is ahead. TU loses when the don't show up early.

ESPN seems to be disrespecting Tulsa in every way possible, including picking Memphis by 7. We were screwed by the refs in Memphis. If we don't come out ready to play Friday night, we don't deserve an at-large bid. I think we'll play well Friday.

Per KenPom's numbers, about a 36% chance we make the finals. Houston with 46%. The difference there is entirely Memphis' fault. It'd sure be nice to open against Tulane or UCF.

Here's Jerry Palm's latest bracket, after last night's games. Too tentative last of last 4 in. We need to get to finals and hope other bubble teams lose. Syr loss to Pitt will help. Butler loss to Providence, Ore St to Ariz St, USC to UCLA, Mich to NW and mYbe Tex Tech to TCU

If Tulsa can get past Memphis and don't use up everything they have getting the win. I can see them winning in the second round. Still it'll be tough, Memphis is a bad matchup for Tulsa. The bigs cannot get into foul trouble like they did at Memphis. That is simply making it easy for Memphis.

It doesn't seem like you watched that game. Did you?

Tulsa is 2-1 against Memphis in the AAC.

73-55 home.
74-72 OT at UM SR night.
82-92 at UM SR night.
