Why would scholarships matter? Couldn't we pay as many people as we want?

That frontcourt is scary on paper. I guess we’ll be looking at Rivera, Suemnick, and Dar as a stretch-4? Then Erheriene and Payne at the 5?

The roster limit is 15, we currently have 14 players. 12 scholarships + 2 grandfathered walk on’s which leaves 1 open slot for the right player if he comes around.
