Anyone have any info on his health status for the upcoming season? Would love to see him back on the field.
I don't think you understand how severe the injury was. It may be in his best interest to redshirt this year.Hopefully he will see the Field by the 4th critical game of this season. While we are very deep in very talented RB’s ( deepest in the B1G) we need Sam for the short yardage 3rd Down plays.
It’s okay this time around, but please keep the premium info on that board in the future. Thank you!Richie wrote last Wednesday, “He's got a long road ahead to recover and his best bet this season would be to redshirt and try to return to form in 2026 imo.”
Really sucks for Sam. That injury against Wisconsin looked terrible and was terrible. The kids sitting next to me at the game cringed and used bad words when they saw it.
Damn my bad. I'd delete the post but not able to after on3 transition from I can tell. Again sorry about that. It’s okay this time around, but please keep the premium info on that board in the future. Thank you!

Training camp is almost here, hopefully we’ll get a real update on his status. Not holding my breath though since this is Greg that we’re talking about.I certainly understand the severity of the Sam Brown injury. I was there in October at that game vs. Wisconsin. Sam has unfortunately endured numerous leg injuries during his career at Rutgers. Hopefully he recovers and plays to his full potential. Many times we compare these injuries to situations that we have experienced.. I broke my fibula and had recovered in 6 months to play sports..obviously at a whole different level. We need Sam Brown for his last year whether it’s in ‘25 or ‘26.
When it comes to players health, many times the coaches have to watch what they say so they don't violate confidently laws.Training camp is almost here, hopefully we’ll get a real update on his status. Not holding my breath though since this is Greg that we’re talking about.
