I don't like the black jerseys generally, but they aren't as offensive as those white hats. At least we aren't wearing black pants.

Now that I've had a chance to reconsider my initial thoughts from the first inning, those unis look pretty good. 16-3 good. The ones they wore Friday just didn't look as good.

Maybe we just weren't ready for the bright lights starting out. Who knows. We certainly have talent though if we can consistently perform and not fall apart on the mound. Honestly, if we hadn't totally blown that Saturday VMI game we would still be in reasonably good shape right now. Still hard to stomach losing a game when you outhit your opponent by 10 and the opponent was a sucky team. Just have to keep plugging away. USM is not going to have the RPI we thought they would after getting swept by Illinois over the weekend.

We have a pretty high ceiling if we can scratch out decent pitching. Our lineup is strong. Just cannot be a disaster on the mound.
