I tried to call the ticket office at the usual number this morning and no one answers. I then learn that I must go to the ticket office to purchase tickets before 1:00 PM. I have a cardinal account and I would like to know why I cannot purchase tickets on that and pick them up at Will Call at the YUM Center?
I am a season ticket holder since 1963. Am I wrong with my frustrations. Sounds like the BOT is running this operation.

I'm looking for $5 tickets on the 2nd & Main sidewalk tomorrow nite. That's about what the experience will be worth. I hope Tyra's sitting at courtside, maybe on the bench...

Ticketmaster has tickets on lower level for $12 and $20 for suites.
As usual, something's up with those tix...

The three (per side) center court/sideline sections on both sides are devoid of tix for sale except for a few singles. And the end zones and corners have thousands. Looks like a thousand or so tix have been legitimately sold locally and the rest reserved for teams and staffs.

Shaping up to be ugly...

Had a change of heart. Although I can’t stand the NIT I went a head and bought tickets. I’m going to support the guys especially Q, Anas, and Spalding. They deserve our support after the nightmare there time here has been.

Got them in the lower bowl for $12.00 bucks.

Tyra is boasting that 5500 tickets 'have already been sold' like that is some type of impressive amount.

WTF?

No chance that number's anywhere close to true sales excl. allotments. Look at the endzones on ticketmaster. I really intend to go so I can witness what a $hitshow Tyra's staging...

Both sides of the lower bowl are sold out and the end zones are pretty full. He probably had old numbers.

12.00 is pretty darn cheep. But I wouldn’t blame anyone for not showing up.

First, how do you know those seats are sold besides the seating chart on T-master?...

I’m assuming that the ticket master site is up to date. I had friends that bought their tickets just after 1 and their in section 107. I bought mine around 4:30 and only the end zone tickets were left. I’m in 113 and there might have been 10 seats left. I’m not saying there our fans. Could be NKU fans buying them.

So you were online before the six sideline sections sold out?...

No my friend were. Those tickets were gone when I got online. Sections 105, 106, 107, 115, 116, and 117 were all sold out. The best seats I could get were in 113 and there were very few left in that section.

As I stated in a previous post I do not care for the NIT, but given what Q and Anas have been through I felt I needed to support them along with the others. Tough decision. If this was a year without all the crap that took place over the last 2-3 years I wouldn’t be attending.

You're selectively evaluating as many do. No question, I'm a cynic to a point. That often translates as negative.

And many times, it's right to be negative...

It is the Ying and the Yang. And for every action, there is an opposite and equal reaction. And Karma. And Darkness vs Light.....Good vs Evil......etc, etc, etc.

I would not go so far as to say that many times it is right to be negative....a few times I would agree with...but not many times...that is what you get left with:rolleyes:o_O

The heart beats to the right side...not the left or negative. Just an observation.;)

In a vacuum, you're right. But this place is hardly a vacuum. You come here as it is.

My experience, this is often in an environment of too much optimism. Take tonite as an example. I'm pleasantly surprised by tickets sales (from what we can tell); I thought there would be a struggle to sell 5,000. But IMO there's no reason to share any fan optimism about how these guys will perform. Your first reaction is usually the accurate reaction, and the players were openly critical of the NIT. That tells me what their effort will probably result in.

If I have a tendency--besides loving to debate too much--it's trying to moderate. Be more pessimistic when there's too much optimism and vice versa. If that translates to being pessimistic, it's probably because there's too much optimism in this space on balance...

I think 10,000 was a good crowd for 1 days notice to the nit.

Probably be bigger Sunday night.

I think the real difference is there is many true fans who love the chance to buy lower arena seats for $20 or less.
