I truly believe, that if this team buys into CRP's defense first, it can raise a banner.

I have to admit the Cards look good in what has been on of the more interesting college basketball seasons in a long time.
I say put on the brakes and slow this thing down a bit. We are going to learn a lot about this team over the course of the next 7 games in my opinion. There are 13 games left on the schedule but this next 7 will tell us exactly what kind of team we have.
I want to see how they handle the next 2 road games, @ Duke, @ ND with UNC and Virginia at home back to back (short turn around time NCAA tournament prep games). They have turnaround and do the same thing again the following week with Boston College on Saturday followed up with @ Duke on Monday. (Tourny prep games).

They could CRAP the bed again like they did at Clemson on the road...No Biggie...Duke, GA Tech, ND, Pitt, Syracuse and VA Tech will be tough...But Manageable...IMHO, Worst case...3-3, but I could see 4-2 to 6-0 on the road.
Duke has problems guarding ANYONE...GA Tech - Win...ND - Toss Up...Pitt - Revenge, but RP has OWNED Jamie Sooooooo...Syracuse - RP OWNS JB Sooooooo...VA Tech - Depends which team shows up!?

It is hard to say with this team who will be the key or be the one to step up. When playing UNC you really have to be cognizant of stopping their transition game and the easy baskets they score when they beat the press and shred the defense with their passing to the interior players.
I think we will need complete games by all 5 of the moving parts. Our guards will definitely need to outplay Marcus Paige and the bigs will need to neutralize Brice Johnson and Kennedy Meeks. Do that, win the rebounding and turnover battle and earn the 'W'. This should be a barn burner. It will say a lot about what this team can do in the NCAA-T or not. Looking forward to it.
I agree 68; a lot of folks who are quick to look at the Clemson loss are blind to what most everyone else in the country is doing. The ACC is very good this year from top to bottom. Duke may not be at their 2015 best, but the rest is making up for it.
Clemson was not a bad loss at their place.
This team has a great chance in large part because there are no great teams out there. All depends on how we're playing the first of March...

And don't forget that Mathiang will probably be back next month.
Don't overlook VT, which as I speak is down to 1 to UNC early in the 2nd half. I think that will be a battle. Almost every game from here on, in the ACC, exception being BC, could be very tough. Not many easy victories in the ACC.
So the team still needs to battle every night for everything. Will be very nice when Mango is back and healthy.
That being said, I really like this team, no matter how things go. Great group of players with a lot of potential and young for the future (with the exception of Lewis and Lee). If Onuaku gives us one more year, next year could be very, very special.

Virginia Tech is going to be a tough game to win. That will be a very hostile environment so poise is going to be crucial.
We are about to go through the gauntlet. UVA then UNC and after BC, Duke and ND. Geez. Things could go so many ways over these next several games. We could excel and win most of them or we could lose a lot of very tough games.
And as I said before, VT is going to be a very tough game as well.
