I suspect in my case I lost my name because I opened a new account on On3. When I saw the free board had disappeared I went to On3 and registered a new account with screen name Husker.Wed. A few days later when On3 ported all the Husker Online accounts over, the program saw there was already a Husker.Wed. registered on On3, so it added the _rivals. But this is just a guess. Many moons ago (2004) something similar happened when I had to start a Huskers Illustrated account to post and ended up having to add the period after my old Husker.Wed name.

I tried and failed to make a new account, then some days later I typed in the old address and logged in using my email with a reset password and I was good.
