He was RB in HS. I assume a DB in college. Super athlete-great kid. What position does he play?
Nolan DeLong?Where did you hear that?
Correct. I'm asking where he heard Delong accepted the offer.Nolan DeLong?
Watched him play against West Branch. I would say you are spot on. I was impressed with his toughness. Better that I thought he would be.Safety growing into LB eventually I think.
South Dakota offered a full ride so if Iowa can get him as a preferred walk-on it would be a real coup and add to what is already a really good class of walk-ons.
Maybe. I haven't heard anything about a commitment. Not saying it didn't happen though.SCOOPED
I was at that game as well. ND did nothing on offense until his final carry vs the WB 2nd squad. Defensively, he is raw. WB had an LB that impressed me more. He looked to be about 6'3 and 220.Watched him play against West Branch. I would say you are spot on. I was impressed with his toughness. Better that I thought he would be.
In defense of Delong, WB sold out to stop the run(and did a very good job of it). Durant didn't make the adjustments to be successful against the stacked box. IMO, Durant had a few pieces that they could've utilized to take the focus off Delong but chose to stick with the run. West Branch was one of the most balanced HS teams I have seen in person. I was there scouting WB for a future opponent. The Bear defense ran a 3-4 around 85-90% of the time, in every game. They had two very good LBs (Henson and #50 Trepanier). At 1A that's dangerous. In defense of Delong, WB sold out to stop the run(and did a very good job of it). Durant didn't make the adjustments to be successful against the stacked box.
I'm assuming the LB you are talking about is #32 Andy Henson(I think that's his name). I was very impressed with him as well. He was also the RB. He is committed to University of Sioux Falls.
