Many places will tell you when the brand you ordered isn't in stock and let you know what brand their serving.
If they don't, one must be leery of ordering anything there that they make and give that place a wide berth .

Right, not all are made by Taylor Provisions ( the top of the line ) and Trenton can be considered Taylor's second string to their product known as Taylor Ham , while Case and the rest are mid majors in the Pork Roll game .

It has nothing to do with unscrupulous. When someone thinks the entire product is generically called “Taylor Ham” then any brand becomes Taylor. Has nothing to do with price/profit. It’s been called Taylor Ham my whole life 50+ years. Has nothing to do with ShopRite, it’s what every deli and breakfast place has always called it whether they serve Taylor’s version or another brand.
