Not even first round? You're out of your ******* mind! First pick can be disputed but you're saying he should be taken in the 2nd round? That's the worst take in this boards history..........including every bad take from Rutgers AL who drives me crazy.I agree . Flagg will be pedestrian in the NBA . Definitely not a top pick or even first round.
Bailey will be a stud
But again who really cares ? Bailey was a hired gun and the team stunk . Move on people
No, what I am saying my projection is his NBA won’t be worthy of the top pick and more like a late first rounder/second rounder . I think he will be another in a long line of Duke disappointments .Not even first round? You're out of your ******* mind! Yes, I believe that if Ace or Dylan were at Duke and Flagg went elsewhere, Flagg would still be #1, and I don't really think its a conversation. Flagg is a fascinating combo of talent that neither Ace or Dylan currently have. Flagg is like a more advanced Siakam offensively and AK47 defensively. Maybe just a less explosive Pippen. It's not unreasonable to say Flagg is a potential bust.....i use a typical " what if scenario "....
Does anyone actually believe that if Ace Bailey OR Dylan Harper were on Duke and Flagg was at Kansas or another Top 10 program, that Bailey or Harper wouldn't be the top pick, you're clearly not paying attention.
I think the Bailey and Harper performances are safer bets for the next level, based on workload and attention paid to them by RU opponents. Teams that loaded up to stop Flagg, just allowed his teammates more opportunities to score, which increased his assist totals.
It also matters which franchise lands each player and the fact that all 3 teams are usually winning teams in recent years specifically Dallas and Philly), if Bailey goes 3rd to Philly, it will be a better comparison than perhaps Ace going to a downtrodden Washington, Charlotte or Utah. I don't think Cooper Flagg, Bailey or Harper have instant results with horrible franchises.
This years draft is really a return to normal because it is almost ALL kids who played at least 1 year of CBB, instead of the unknown French or European player......there's more discussion because there's actually tape in college instead of speculation about it.
That could happen, but NBA teams don't draft based on history. They draft based on potential. In recent years, it seems that the less time players play at Duke, the better they are in the NBA.No, what I am saying my projection is his NBA won’t be worthy of the top pick and more like a late first rounder/second rounder . Is this a case for HS kids expecting to be a lottery pick just going to Duke to max their draft stock instead of RU or another school? It's not unreasonable to say Flagg is a potential bust.....i use a typical " what if scenario "....

I personally dont see that at all but I like the comparisons of the former or current NBA players. I dont have a lot of 6'7 or 6'8" players who are able to score consistently 1 on 1 at the college level like Bailey could and I don’t see Flagg as a player that I can draft and ask him to get buckets on a Siakam type defender or AK47 elite defender.Yes, I believe that if Ace or Dylan were at Duke and Flagg went elsewhere, Flagg would still be #1, and I don't really think its a conversation. I love Ace's potential, and love the increased effort and success he had on the defensive end as the season went on this year. I don't even disagree, that at his max, he could become top player here, but think Flagg has a huge top level also, and plays with an advanced feel for the game that I'm not sure Ace has. Right now, Flagg is better at every aspect of the game outside shot making. I've also said I think that Bailey may be better early in the NBA than he was in college.I personally dont see that at all but I like the comparisons of the former or current NBA players. I think Flagg can be a better than normal rookie or early career defender and I feel like Ace has too many variables that launch him past most of this class defensively. If I just brought in the Top 8 players and put them on a playoff roster and asked them to try and defend a NBA bench scorer, I think Ace has the most upside to get stops or potential blocked shots, steals, more than Flagg.
Flagg is the safer pick for Years 1 through 3.....but that's age 19-21.....Ace by age 21 to 28, projects to just be too athletic and talented as a scorer IMO. I think Flagg is closer to his ceiling as a player and Ace and Dylan have significantly more upside.

You never know but every NBA scout and every NBA team believes otherwise. Hmm, who’s more credible? The field or The Plumster ?No, what I am saying my projection is his NBA won’t be worthy of the top pick and more like a late first rounder/second rounder . Well, when it came to the flood hire, the age hire , the carroo arrest , Schiano saying Michigan was stealing signals and the NJ transit strike ending Sunday …the plumster was more credible than the field. .You never know but every NBA scout and every NBA team believes otherwise. So who are the 25 other players the Plumster projects to be better pros than Flagg ? Of course our two future NBA Hall of Famers, but who else, PlumProphet ?Well, when it came to the flood hire, the age hire , the carroo arrest , Schiano saying Michigan was stealing signals and the NJ transit strike ending Sunday …the plumster was more credible than the field. .
