Jimbo Fisher walked away with a small fortune.
A few drops of Texas tea in a bucket to them!!!And nobody at A&M will lose one second of sleep over it.
A bit flippant? Is paying a fired coach that much worse than paying Schiano whatever we do to stink every year?

Maybe some sunshine. Flood's record was decent his first three years but he did show inexperience, his last year was bad but the admin had sandbagged him. Ash horrific in every way and destroyed the program. Schiano has done what was expected, taken an F team to C+. Blowouts were down last year but we only played one of the top 7 B10 teams in Illinois. Getting beyond C+ would mean relinquishing the conservative offense and going to a spread with dual threat, not in his genes. We will stay with him for a long time and bounce between no bowl or low-level bowls each year. Hopefully we score a big upset one of these years.A bit flippant?

Rutgers football was on an 8 year death spiral under Flood and Ash. OL/DL recruiting was horrific. Maybe this is sunshine pumping, but some of us see an upward trend in wins, margin of loss (the blowouts under Ash were bad -in 7 of 9 Big 10 games, Rutgers scored 1 touchdown or less with an average margin of loss of 31 points).
Last year, in 6 losses, the margin of loss in Big 10 games was 13 points. Rutgers has been bowling two seasons in a row. Rutgers is not Michigan or Ohio State or Penn State, which pay their coaches north of $10 million.
Wisconsin under Luke Fickell (year 2) is treading water and was 5-7/3-6 last year. What exact results were you expecting for Rutgers?

Upset is long overdue and mostly agree with you. I was accused of being a Floodie back in the day, but in fairness, he was a lazy and lousy recruiter, and after the vaunted 2012 Greg's last cast was gone, the team was a shell of it's 2012 self when Ash took over, and remarkably, he took it even lower quickly.Maybe some sunshine. Flood's record was decent his first three years but he did show inexperience, his last year was bad but the admin had sandbagged him. Ash horrific in every way and destroyed the program.
