Gary Cohen just commented about the dearth of lefthanded starters in MLB.
The Phillies have 3 in their rotation.

I know it's earlier, but who are the potential all-stars for the Mets this year?

Canning?
Pete?
Lindor?
Holmes?
Maybe Senga?

We really do have a good team. And anyone that wants to play games with a core of Lindor/Soto/Alonso for at least the next 5 years…not sure what kind of fan you are.

We are also seeing Vientos/Baty/Alvarez/Acuna really look like a huge young core as well.

Our pitchers up her are crushing it and looks like a couple more are starting to make a mark.

It is so weird as a Met fan to love the current team and see some real potential coming up

Still not confident with the later innings relief pitching.

Get that sorted out and yeah…😎

Some of the guys that struggled earlier seem to be settling down in the PB.
And since we feast on everyone else’s BP, it has worked out. The team can be inconsistent at times but it never seems to last long.

Reimer, Benge, and Serrano should probably move to Bing soon. I would guess around Memorial Day. They are killing it at Brooklyn.

Didn't add them yet but they promoted a pen arm in Anthony Nunez to Bing who is interesting. There's also Dylan Ross who throw over 100 in the pen hitting 102 last night who was out all last season with TJ and back. Did add Zach Thornton who was a 5h rounder in 2023.

MLB Pipeline re-ranked its Top 100 prospects. Mets have three:

Jett Williams - 51
Brandon Sproat - 68
Carson Benge - 89

A bit of a drop for Sproat.

A lot of people think McLean and Tong have higher upside than Sproat not to say Sproat is bad or anything. They have better FB shape and/or secondaries. McLean is clearly a top 100 prospect now and Tong basically is as well. I believe even Pipeline called this more of a market correction than a actual re-rank. They did it since everyone there were a lot of service time graduations since OD like Kristian Campbell.

No Soto. Just a day off, or is something wrong? I know that some managers like to rest guys on the day before an off day, this giving them two days.
