He has three years left played in 9 games last year not 4.

A solid high school big isn't the bargain bin, it's more like a lotto ticket, hoping it would stick around. The more youth you bring in, it's more likely a few stick around to keep your culture moving forward. You need kids like this, in addition to kids ready to play now.

Jefferson will end up at Wisconsin or Northwestern, get better coaching that Rutgers can give, and end up kicking our a$$ two years from now.

No idea how he’ll do, but this is a smarter move for us roster construction wise. We already have an offense only frosh coming in (Ware). Jefferson has a better ranking, yes, but we definitely don’t need two of them.

Let’s see what we get for shooting guard. And then how we fill that 13th spot. I assume we won’t take 15 because we won’t want to spread our funds that far and will ultimately just award 2 walk ons with scholarships before the season.
