You don’t even live in NJ. How would you know what kind of Governor he is, aside from what your MAGA friends tell you? He’s a terrible governor and a bad person but if you like sports at Rutgers he’s the pick.

If I can have an opinion of Governor of California (which I do), @Caliknight can have an opinion of New Jersey's governor. Of course, neither of us has to agree with his opinion! You don’t even live in NJ. How would you know what kind of Governor he is, aside from what your MAGA friends tell you?
really? Here is your contribution to the clown car...You guys are working your way and this thread to the clown college board.
I really don't care about whether he was a good or bad governor. His pre-gov't success on Goldman Sachs's management committee and leading its investment management committee undoubtedly had him in a position or ready access to big money donors. So putting him in a position to lead the university could have significant upsides to academic and sports. Yes, the article says he hasn't shown any interest. That doesn't really mean anything. But he'd really have to want this job. It comes with a lot of work and criticism. So I doubt he'd want it.
And . . .really? Here is your contribution to the clown car...
The last president we got from such a school was McCormick from U. Washington. It turned out he had taken our offer because he was about to be fired for an affair with a subordinate. He wasn't a bad president, but let's hope we're not going down that road again.Richie said one of the top 2 candidates is a sitting president from a P2 school. Bama to Rutgers?
