Nebraska must be having a fit over losing him.

Probably really wanted him back for "continuity".
Too bad he wasn't locked into a multi year contract with the team......

Given how bad next year is going to be anyway Pike should just see if GG is willing to come back for maybe a slice of za and a beer and we can relive the nostalgia

People keep lamenting not being able to "watch freshman develop" and how they are leaving CBB.

So bringing back GG would get all those people back on board, right?

What a shocker? I think he averaged less than 3 minutes a game. @bac2therac weren’t you saying he was going to do well at Nebraska?
Bac may have said so, but I also said so, vociferously.

Nebraska never ever made any sense to me for him ... and I was perplexed why Nebraska wanted him. He needed to go down a level or two and rebuild his NIL value by performing well in 25+ mpg at a mid-major or low-major team. WHich is what he is likely to do now - but will have wasted a year.

I actually thought Nebraska’s coach with his offensive game plan would get something out of Gavin. I guess coach’s son was better. Shows what I know 😂

Give him a break. He is a 19 or 20 year old who got crummy advice from a lot of adults, including two coaches of Power 5 teams. Everything that has transpired is not all his fault.

Griffiths was a highly rated recruit in high school with prowess as a 3 point shooter. At Rutgers he had a couple games where he showed some scoring ability but was a no show on defense.Nebraska was more of the same with even less playing time at the end of the season.Transferring to a lower level school in the northeast probably next move. The level of competition in high school obviously didn't prepare him for B1G Ten competition.

He got bad advice the first time around. At this point transferring down probably makes the most sense for him; there’s no reason to sit around Nebraska playing 2 minutes per game.
Well he took the advice …..accountability.

Griffiths should go either NEC or America East route or perhaps D2 in the NE-10 Conference.

Huge bust.

Rutgers had so much hope that he could be the shooter they desperately needed and he was just horrendous. Couldn't play defense if his life depended on it.

Going to save a poster for getting killed.......taking one for the team

Maybe Pike should give him a 2nd chance. We are going to need scoring now that Ace and Dylan are gone. I think he can be a good shooter and he is 4 stars. Also he will be motivated after 2 disappointing years and I think he will hit the gym hard.

What’s gotten into you? Buchanan (who literally gave away his NIL to the poor) feels like a Lathan pick up, but we should look to bring Gavin back here. What?
