The NBA only plays defense in the 4th quarter of playoff games. It's part of the reason popularity has decreased.

Did Sampson seriously call the ACC the “Toy Poodle League”? That’s hilarious. Waiting for a comment from pompous Bilas.

Bueller? Anyone?

Houston looks way too physical to my eyes. Clayton can't get a look and I don't think the rest of Florida can score enough against this team . Unless they get real hot from 3.

Refs haven't called a foul on Florida in 7 minutes now, while there have been 7 on Houston.

Florida was best team. Made all the stops and Houston couldn't get anything last 2 possessions

Refs were incredibly inconsistent, but not biased against Houston. Hosed the center on Florida multiple times in the first half.

But here's my question: Why couldn't sharp have just grabbed the ball and shot? He hadn't dribbled yet. Why would it be a travel? Can you not jump with the ball and then drop it?

I underestimated a #1 seed 35 win Florida team.

But I also overestimated Houston, thinking they were so dominant defensively that they would also be able to dominate offensively. But, like many physical defensive teams, they are not a great offensive team.

It would have been a self pass.

Great close out by Clayton caused the gaffe by Sharpe, if he took the shot Clayton looked likely to block it.

Once a player's feet leave the floor the player is prohibited from dribbling or regaining control of the basketball.
