Note that no one's asked him to.
Yea I think Knights window closed for now on many opportunities. He was rumored to be included in many searches in the past much higher than a Fordham level. Think he needs to either get on a higher level staff as top assistant or take a low level head coaching opportunity. The bloom is off the flower. Especially after this year.

Pike is horrible…Rutgers basketball may never recover
2 top five picks for what? All we got out of that was a ruined relationship with Adidas

Below .500 record

Between the transfers (martini, Acuff, derkack) their averages went down by a total of 30+ points combined!!!! That is ALL COACHING

A 6’6” PG and a 6’10” forward who are both ungaurdable but we didn’t see an Ace/Dylan pick and pop or pick and roll ALL SEASON!! (But we set a ballscreen every play)

All those guys should get in the portal! Even the walk-ons are running away from this crap

Pike needs to get transfers from programs with great coaches so they are already coached up. He can't or won't do it. As far as Knight goes, aside from his ability to recruit, he is valueless from a pure basketball perspective. Somebody would be nuts to hire him. He's a JUCO coach.

Saw a tweet, saying st. johns is going to spend $5M-$6M this upcoming year on NIL. Indiana will be spending more.

It wont matter who the coach is unless you donate. Stop complaining on the boards and open your wallet!!!!!!

Yet we’ve seen what pike can do with portal players. That’s a tough sell.

Open that wallet! These kids need millions to dribble their ball!
lol. The truth is some people are going to contribute no matter what and many will not no matter what. But if anyone thinks our NIL will increase after this year’s mess, I think they are sorely mistaken….

We desperately need an AD (preferably one with a brain), to figure out a way to best cut our losses. It’s a long road ahead to get out of this hole, unfortunately. I fear every year of the status quo sets us back two more.

I've been doing a monthly NIL donation for awhile now, but it just becomes harder to stomach when these kids will all be driving nicer cars than me. 500k minimum probably for a starter these days.

I was donating. I stopped. I'm retired and as I said, I have to think of myself, not these mercenaries. I think the kids should be compensated, but it has gotten way out of control.

Damn so we’re only 500k-1 mill away from winning the Big East and being a 2 seed!

WAKE UP! It’s not about NIL money. The guy driving the ship is on another planet.

It won't matter how much you donate if the coach can't maximize the talent on the team.

Rats of a sinking ship, I would be shocked if the current recruiting class makes it to campus.
Something is very wrong with this program from the inside out. It has been apparent since Mag was injured and showed signs prior to that.
We are better off with an interim coach at this point than Pike!
No influencer will be advising players to come play for Pike! The failure to produce with the 2nd and 3rd projected NBA draft players
Is a disaster that the program in its current state cannot recover from.
RU is currently in a worse position than it was before Pike was hired

Players who are on court coaches, PM
Would have to tell Pike when to call timeouts!

Unless Knight is the interim coach. That's worse.
