Couldn’t he have stepped on the mat and taken an injury default? That’s what Gallagher did in big tens
I was thinking the same thing. I don't see why not. That was an embarrassing way to intentionally lose.

Last weekend Burroughs was trying to sneak PA kids into NJ kids states, including his own son. Guy was a great wrestler but a clown of a human.

Who cares what he says.
Go on... He still lives in Philly and really tried that? Did his son wrestle in a NJ qualifier? That's trash if true.

Since this is in Philadelphia all 3 of the major TV news were all over it this morning. Each had good stories but my biggest/favorite story was when tickets went on sale they sold out in two minutes+.

Peterson faces Robinson who is certainly beatable and he probably wants some revenge after injury defaulting against him earlier this year. Funny, that loss doesn’t look as bad now.

Wrestlers still alive in the 125 bracket include Lilledahl, Seymour, and Ventresca who Peterson has beaten once each and never lost. Also Ramos who he’s lost to, but has beat in their most recent bout. I don’t want to get ahead of myself but if he wrestles like he did today, a national title isn’t completely out of reach. There’s a path to it.

What’s the path for the guys alive to AA?

this is wild if true.

I do like him as an announcer and I enjoyed watching him compete.

Youth sports is a different universe.

There’s a path but only if he wrestles MEAN DEAN style… I would love to see Dean face Lilledahl again but ⚡️⚡️ has lvled up since..

Absolutely true. Go look at flo arena and the NJ youth tourney last week. His kid was in the bracket and didn’t wrestle because parents complained about his kid and other being from PA.

Then he went on instagram and complained about the parents and the sad state of youth sports.

A.J. Ferrari is the biggest douche in wrestling. I hope someone beats him.
What did he do this time ? I don’t think anyone is beating him.. from listening to his interviews it sounds like he matured and his work ethic and mental game is very strong.

Earlier in the match he was also doing some WWE style arm waving.

What’s the path for the guys alive to AA?
Each guy in consolations is 3 wins away from AA so I’m not going to break it down individually. Every guy, including former AA’s in Shawver and Yara have an uphill battle and will have to beat at least 1 or 2 studs to get on the podium.

Peterson will be on the podium if he beats Robinson. If he loses, he falls to R12 but will still be an AA if he wins that match. Two of the guys he could face there are Moran from Indiana who he’s beaten every time in his career, or Gallagher from Penn who he surprisingly lost to earlier this year.

I feel like people who tell you over and over how mature and composed they are usually are projecting that rather than being it. He may or may not understand the difference. It all has a pro wrestling feel to it.

His interviews are interesting and even entertaining. I wouldn't say I'm a hater. I'm very eager to see him wrestle Buchanon.

Damn, that sucks if Burroughs isn't following the rules and cheating. Are we sure he still lives in Philly and didn't move to NJ? How was his kid allowed to wrestle in the NJ qualifier? Did he use his NJ club address or someone else's address to register his kid?

You have probably seen the video above by now. But that. And the announcers said "look, he's trying to do a roll over tilt". Idiots.

F Burroughs. He has no idea of Yara’s injury
If he is that injured then why would he wrestle? Why didn’t he take the ink default? Running away and stalling out in period 1 is a bad look. If that was the coaches strategy, it wasnt well thought out.

Honestly it makes sense. He has 0 chance against Steveson, so take the loss and get out of there unscathed then hope for the best in wrestlebacks.

Really appreciate the info. It sounded like some tough draws for the fellas, but we got a nice pin from Peterson.

Understand he is injured but that was extremely embarrassing, bad idea to do that
I didn't see the match, but even if you're injured and stalling out, you're still risking injury, right? Seems not only embarrassing but not smart to do it you are actually injured and trying to avoid making your injury worse.

I agree especially since Steveson got frustrated one time and pushed Yara into the scorers table pretty hard.

U really do see everything through rosé colored glasses lol. If Peterson falls to R12 u mention the two guys who he’s most likely to beat , Moran and Gallagher.. but no mention of who Peterson will most likely face if he falls to R12 is Poulin. That being said, I like Peterson’s chances to AA.

Shawver gotta go on a revenge tour— first he gotta beat Brown, then he got Noto most likely. Waiting in R12 is Fugitt/Mconagle.

Interesting strat for Yara to stall out vs Gable… his two studs he will need to beat his Luffman and then R12 is Heindselman . He beat Luffman already but also lost to Heinsendslman, both were close matches.

Dean loses 2-4 and Robinson only scored off a counter on Dean's shot attempt.

I mentioned the two guys he COULD wrestle, and I chose the two because they’re the only two he HAS wrestled. Not that hard.

Ok I thought u chose those two bc they were more favorable matchups and no mention of Poulin bc that would be Peterson’s toughest and most likely matchup… probably close to a coin flip now that Peterson lost to Robinson again..
