Tough To Watch College BB

How many of you are finding it tough to watch college BB at the moment with the way the season went for RU?

Admittedly, I’m currently disconnected from watching any type of post season college basketball with how our team sh*t the bed and didn’t even finish .500.

No, just as i like watching the Rose Bowl and playoff games when we only make a bowl, I enjoy watching these games and NCAA with hope that we’ll be in the Crown against some cool teams. Tomorrow night tho if we don’t make it or decline and invite, it will be hard for me. Even if the season was sad doesnt mean I want it to end

Not watching and don’t care but that’s me. It’s not like it used to be imo. If rutgers was relevant yeah I’d be sucked in but with nil and transfers every year doubt i will watch much if any of the tourney this year. I know I’m probably and outlier.

Not difficult at all. I cant get enough. So many great games all week. Even though the game has greatly changed in the past few decades, the basic concepts and fundamentals remain the same. It’s my favorite time of year. Now that i have more free time i'm watching even more games in person and on TV. I even got tickets for the first round this year in Cleveland.

Status quo, its always something funny w RU. Pike's best team, then St. Peters goes to the final four. Highly anticipated year this year and it's St. John's in the national spotlight. Rinse and repeat. I'll tune in for the tourney though.

Finding it tough to watch college basketball and it has absolutely zero to do with Rutgers. All due to pay for play and unfettered free agency. Not the same.

First time I've checked the board since we lost and haven't watched a second of hoops since then either. When we're not good (and especially when we do a lot worse than expected), my interest goes way down. The only reason I'll likely even watch the selection show is my buddy Adam Zucker is now hosting it with the passing of Greg Gumbel. When we've been good and made the tourney or even just missed on occasion - or even when we simply overachieved (like Pike's 3rd year with the MSG run) I would watch much more.

When we got screwed two years ago, it was tough. We were so bad this year, it doesn’t even bother me.

Complacency has turned into mediocrity at Rutgers.There is no sense of urgency to change the staus quo,As long as Rutgers sells out a 8000 seat arena, fans shouldn't be disappointed with won/loss records.

Watching St John’s play defense for 10 minutes in the second half, after watching Rutgers this year, it was like watching a different sport

Nothing can happen without a president and AD. Pikiell deserves the chance to turn it around. But I hope we get a strong AD. Next year should be enormous for Pike. The rope shouldn’t be that long

I watched the American East? conference final for a little while today between Maine and Bryant. I really enjoyed it. Real basketball and not everyone hanging out on the perimeter looking to hoist up a three.

This is so true. I went to watch my daughter cheerlead at our high school's state tournament game. I swear they ran more motion on offense than I've seen from Rutgers in Pike's entire tenure here. I'm not joking either.

Even though we go South for the winter it would have been great to see our State U dancing on Selection Sunday but for some reason it just didn't work.

When I watch some of these teams I can’t help but t be impressed and they would destroy us . Their offenses are so much better , the play by their big men are night and day compared to us and of course the D I see much better . We are so far from that level right now. Next year is a total mystery.

Agreed we are maybe a top 100-150 program right now. The gap has only been growing .

There has been real quality games the last few days .
