RU should scrapRAC renovations and move forward with Hobbs’ preferred plan of building a new arena. Then line up a new coach to start a program rebuild the season prior. New arena equals more corporate money equals better chance of new NIL. Where is the money for a new arena when Rutgers doesn't have financial backing for RAC renovations or a football replacement for the Hale Center?

Kevin Boyle just changed high school jobs because his school wasn't handling NIL as well as it could and you want him to put up with RU NIL situation?

HS coaches usually don't interpret well in college. Many college coaches start as student-athletes and climb the coaching ranks, rather than transitioning directly from high school.

We are getting a full B1G share (less that loan - but still 50 million plus) and if we can't spend the $ to replace that 40 year hold **** hole in Piscataway just cancel the program and go back to the American. No other P4 program thinks like this.

And BTW - that renovation plan for the RAC is a total embarrassing Rube Goldberg. Let's move on from the 70s'.

You can be tired of it all you want but it is an issue for sure and most likely will continue to be. Maybe Pike negotiated a bit more from Schiano’s rev share money.. lol.

Danny Hurley, St. Benedict’s.

I don’t think that being a high school head coach early in your career means you can never be a high major college coach, BUT you have to work your way up, which Hurley did.. he was hired away from St Benedict’s by Wagner of all schools.

As a power conference program, we can’t be hiring a coach straight from the high school ranks.
