It comes down to wins and losses … not asking much for RU to finish in top half for 25% of the sports, more than 1 B1G tourney win combing all sports and 1 post season NCAA win:

Think we were in bottom quarter in 75% of our programs in league this year , 1 B1G win in FH, and 0 NCAA wins last year and this year.

Lathan will not be back. The rest are basically bench pieces. There is unfortunately no foundation at all to build on here. The next few years may be very ugly

BUT This year we had two 3rd team all B10 players. Thats it. No other reference is relevant to the RU season.

And very little around 3rd team college talent, talent wise, toughness wise or bball IQ wise.

WHOSE FAULT IS THAT? People are acting like pikiell didn't hand pick the other guys. He picked a bunch of garbage when guys paid less at lower levels did more than our guys did.

Hell, martini SHOWED he can do more. Princeton coach is miles ahead of pike in ability and got SOMETHING out of him. Do people truly believe the best other coaches could get out of Martini was 0 points 0 rebounds after a year of coaching him up? Pikiell does not scheme anyone for success

Sweet Sixteen was always the ceiling for this team and that was with Ace and Dylan dominating every game offensively. Turns out the BigTen is fairly decent. They would have won many low and mid-major conferences.

Pike will not be able to recruit off of this season. Our competition will just say “he had two lottery picks and finished 15-17.”

The only silver lining is that we might have some revenue sharing money to pay portal guys.

I hear you and completely understand where this coming from in your first statement and in college basketball in the past 40 years , this would be painfully true

However …to that contrary, revenue sharing is here and if combined with NIL and used properly, we will potentially be able to keep up good pieces to start fixing this …

Can we do a better job of talent evaluation, especially in the back court …? Other than Dykan , our guard recruting has been poor since Paul , with the exception of Cam
