They don’t have a good option to start it mid game and catch up to live. I tried multiple times and it always freezes as you try to skip commercials. Not sure if this is intentional or just a crappy platform
Intentional, making it a crappy platform.

Unlikely I'll watch either of them.
find someone to share it with (they don't restrict) and use a coupon code. There are tons of them out there, I'm splitting with my son and got it for $20 for the whole year ($1.67 / month)...just to watch our games but I have also found a couple of good shows/movies... a COUPLE.

Oh I can get on Peacock, I just hate watching sports on streaming because you can't change channels.

This. I actually like their production, but being stuck on that one game is brutal, especially during conference tournaments.

I like the production quality on peacock over FS1. After every score on FS1 they zoom in on a player or someone in the crowd and we miss the beginning of the next play. Whoever is doing that needs to stop

What kind of fake fan turns off the Rutgers game? Haha just messing.

It works perfect for me. I watch little non-Rutgers basketball/football so I’m not switching channels during games.

I understand that’s a big issue for most everyone else except me.

However, it’s hard to file a complaint saying “the broadcast company makes it hard for me to switch to a competitor product! They need to fix that.”

Additional note - It appears a SHU fan agreed with you. Take that for what it’s worth.

As someone 100% on board with streaming games, this is an issue that needs to be addressed.

I frequently watch games already in-progress.

I also frequently watch games after the fact on DVR.
So if I'm late to a Peacock game, I'll just wait until it's over and the replay is posted.

But I have all cable subscription games set to record and have issues there too.
For example, if the game starts on another channel - it's not recorded.
Or if the game goes long and the recording isn't set properly.

I missed (luckily?) the end of the NIT game against Hofstra because the recording ended before the game.

Now I set the recording to end 2hrs after the game ends.

It’s your WiFi. I’ve never had an issue.

And the tv picture is far superior to BTN

I access Peacock through my hardwired Xfinity cable box (say "Peacock" into the remote) and have never had any issue.

And yes, much better picture on the same TV with the wiring.
I don't understand it.

But even over wifi to my phone - Peacock or Fox Sportd app have for superior picture to BTN through a cable subscription.

Changing channels is for when nothing's on.

When you select exactly what you want to watch, like an RU game, ain't no need to switch channels.

Or do what Rahwaybob said.

ended up splitting a peacock subscription with our friends, paying peanuts and they have good racing content as well.

Never had any issues with any of our ‘cock games
