Good and bad. Raises our NET but it’s a win for a team that we are fighting with to get into the B1G tournament. I think the NET is very secondary here. Would have rather had the Nebraska loss since I can’t see how NET is relevant any longer.

Long shot but if rutgers beats Illinois and then wins at Maryland they would have 5 quad 1 wins and be 13-11.. Where in your opinion does that put us compared to Nebraska?

13-11 is just 2 games above 500 so unless they win the next 2 after that they are not a serious contender...get to 15-11

Derick was encouraged if not forced out or perhaps unjustifiably given the limited PT talk. In retrospect might have got all the time he needed.
He wasn’t a quitter in my book either. effort, motor and hustle guy.

I think he took more crap on this board then any athlete in my memory.

I think Mags did a tremendous disservice to Pike and the team and was a quitter.

Would agree you can’t characterize it as quitting, but he certainly went back on his world.

“I’m completely fine speaking about this because I’m never going to transfer,” he said. “I am never going to enter the portal. Even if things go wrong, knock on wood, I’m here. I’m staying. I’m not a guy that will enter the portal – ever.”

Ultimately it doesn’t really matter, not least because Griffiths isn’t an asset to any HM basketball team right now, but it does reflect poorly on his character.
