I reply to a fair amount of football stuff on socials.
For the past week anything about the football game is missing but I'm flooded with stuff about the halftime show.
Its being pushed hard - worried about the ratings I assume

We must follow way different people/groups. I have not read one word about halftime, but see 50 posts a day about the game.

Same. Didn’t even remember who was performing until I had to answer a question about it in a props pool.

I think its more about what you "Like" and post about than who you follow.
There is a "big deal" about Kendrick vs Drake vs Lil Wayne
Then there is Poop Dog and Rhianna with commentary.
Poop said there weren't enough "slur word" in the Super Bowl until JZ got control
With rappers you cant be sure its just frothy nonsense like weigh-ins for boxing match
SZA will also be appearing

Takes too long to play the game
An extra week of endless social net repeats of the "failed" 4th down attempt by Buffalo have a lot of people "iced" to the game.
People have been getting toxic towards KC as Goodell's cheating mistress
The endless promotion of the half-time, chant fest is also wearing people out.
They will get good ratings but NFL still turning people off.
Need that B1G/SEC NFL 2.0 - people will flock to that if the economy stays upright

If you're on the fence on who to root for, remember the greatest man who ever played the game. On June 29, 1983, 3 kids were playing in a Monroe, Louisiana pond. None of them could swim. Neither could Joe Delaney. His last words, “If I don’t come up, get somebody.”
He saved one of the boy. The two others drowned along with Joe Delaney.
He was only 24. He left behind a wife and three beautiful little girls. He also left behind an NFL career. He was a teammate of Rutger's great, Deron Cherry. He'd been a Kansas City Chief for two years, rushed for 1,121 yards as a rookie and figured to be RB1 heading into camp.

Joe Delaney was a great back and as it turns out, an even better human being. No telling how great he could’ve been. I remember that was so sad.
