Thanks for letting us know. I remember Bobby Shantz from his days with the Yankees -- he was a lefthanded pitcher who fielded his position very well. Earlier in his career, he had been rookie of the year with the Philadelphia A's.

Cobb isn't easy either because he began his career in the dead ball era. In Cobb's rookie year, 1905, the major league leader for home runs had nine.

Aside from Koufax, I definitely remember Aspromonte -- his brother Ken also played in the majors, right -- and Jim Gentile went on to be a power hitter for the Baltimore Orioles.
