Princeton isn't good

They struggled mightily against a bad Akron team. Columbia is better than Princeton. We had no business losing that game and it could haunt us all season.

for some reason past few years Princeton plays RU as if it is the Princeton caliber teams in the 90s….we always get their best game…

There are 2 games right now that haunt us, plus no good OOC wins…

You my friend have to watch more basketball . Princeton is much much better than Columbia who was not good against us. Lee and Pierce were 2 of the better players on the court that had Harper and ACE on the same court. You cannot look at Princeton who lost Pierce to an ankle sprain and say they struggled with Akron so they are not good. Not the same team we played. What you can say why they are a good team is they were down to Akron by about an average of 12 points for 30+ minutes and still found a way to win. That is what good teams with heart look like. Pierce played 8 minutes in that game and they were outrebounded 37-29. Huge difference without him.

I would think Princeton is a bit better than Columbia, but not that much.

Princeton is better than Columbia. They have comparable playmakers (Lee vs. De La Rosa), and an even number of shooters, but what distinguishes Princeton from Columbia is Caden Pierce. The Lions don't have a player like that, and PU really missed him after getting hurt very early in the game last night.

Yes, that's the key. But after watching both teams against us, we should have beaten Princeton by 15. All of the things we did on D last night, we didn't accomplish. And if Pierce is unable to go, then yes, Columbia will have their way with them. Personally, I think Columbia will beat them anyway. Remember, Columbia beat Villanova by ten at Villanova.

What Green telling me what to post after half of the ******** contrarian positions he takes just for the sake of it. And Alas , he gets it right once and he celebrates and reminds one about it , forgetting all the times he is wrong.
It had nothing to do with the matchups. It had to do with the talent of Lee and Pierce and a Princeton team that got 19 offensive rebounds and played like their hair was on fire. We caught them on one of their really good days , an NCAA type performance they put up. Columbia can play us 10 times and would never beat us because they do not have those 2 players. You can have whatever opinion you want about Columbia and about Princeton. That is why it is a message board and a back and forth as designed to discuss the opinions. Sorry to disagree with you but Princeton at full strength is much better than Columbia

Princeton is a good team for their level. Nationally, neither they or Columbia are what I'd call good. Wouldn't think either among top 75-100 teams.

We still should have won but as a stand-alone thing it’s not that terrible of a loss. But it’s still bad and we have other bad things as well.
