So…there’s no shot we win today, right?

They could put up 90+. So could we. I’m just glad this turned out to be a sarcastic thread because you never know around here.

I remember RU’s own Jim Valvano, when asked if his 6-seed NC State team had a chance to beat top ranked #1 seed Houston in the 1983 NCAA Championship, said something like,

“Of course we have a chance, because we’re playing in the game. Go ask UCLA if they have a chance. They got no shot because they’re not playing.”

I always think of that line when it comes to underdogs in sports.

(*NC State won, 54-52 at the buzzer)

It feels like there’s no way we win. Every time I’ve thought that over the years, the team shocks the fanbase and wins, so who knows.

Line is going in our favor too. Up to -2.5 now after opening at -1.5

But yes, absolutely no chance we win. Would be the biggest upset in college basketball history if we do

Home game.. I'll say 50/50 chance. They need to figure out how to play defense real quick with the losses piling up.

We will not only lose but it’ll be a blowout. Hope I’m wrong.

I just don’t understand why we are not perfect every time we step on the floor, we didn’t make every shot we. Didn’t get every rebound, we actually let them make shots, we missed too many foul shots.
Oh yea we did improve we were more consistent with effort, we rebounded very well, and oh yea we won the F’in game. We made progress beat a good team. If you can’t be happy about that please just shut up

Amazing how many people don’t understand a young team needing to learn. They are learning quick and clearly are trusting the game plan.

Some fans are just infuriating and miserable like the season ticket holder that calls Pike or a player stupid on every mistake, every frickin game. Wonder why he shows up since it seems painful for him to watch.

Today he called Pike a moron for sitting Dylan right before the tv timeout. Negative and clueless. What a pleasure to sit in front of.

Huge win, even with letting them back in it. Best game of the year for us (and an amazing first half). If we can play with this level of intensity and continue to share the ball this well with great play from our stars and at least good play from the supporting cast, we'll win a lot of games.

My condolences.
