This was only good for Michigan. Bad for the conference and bad for RU. We just got pushed down in the bowl selection order

Pepper spray seems over the top.
Seen a 100 fights like this - a lot that were worse

Counterpoint: Ohio State losing is good for the big ten, good for Rutgers and good for America.

Although it doesn't excuse their behavior, trying to plant the flag at midfield was also classless and douchy.

Day looks especially bad, not even knowing what was happening, off doing who knows what.

Unbelievable.

Looks like Sherrone just cemented his staying status.
What a badly called game by OC Chip Kelly and Ryan Day choking once again against Michigan for the 4th game in a row. If Ohio State doesn’t redeem themselves in the playoffs, I wouldn’t be surprised if Day is fired.

Barring some type of magnificent run in the Playoffs - Day could very well be terminated.

Who do they hire ?

Always said Day was like 18 year old kid getting Mercedes for his first car. Never coached at a Virginia or Duke.

I can’t stand all the sanctimonius takes on the scrap after the game. The NHL and NASCAR PROMOTE fighting. The bigger the brawls the better for ratings. These guys all have pads on, enough with the “oh this is so embarassing….blah blah blah” BS. This is great for the rivalry, penalize them for fighting but enough with the dramatics.

Hockey players and NASCAR drivers don't fight protecting some painted-on logo at the center of their home field. OSU got slapped around, then got tough when the flag got planted. Waaaaaahhhhh...

Don't like the guy but he is 66-10 at OSU and two losses are by 1 and 3 points and he can still win a natty this year. Even if he craps in the playoffs who would they hire?

He is 1-4 vs. Michigan. That alone will get you canned in Columbus. Nothing else matters. Right now, he ranks behind Woody, Earle Bruce, Tressel and Urban in win percentage against Michigan, but just behind John Cooper who got fired for that fact alone. He’s the most over rated coach in Buckeye history.
