You gave her a great last ride. Glad she went out on her own terms. As someone who grew up not having a dog or cat i never understood people getting so upset when they died. When my girls were little we got them a puppy and then I totally got it. Had her for 15 years until she got sick. It was a weird day. Long story short but after many trips to the vet that week my wife was on the phone with the vet and doc said I think it’s time, she’s in too much pain. Bring her in. On the way to the vet she got energized and had her head out the window enjoying the breeze. We get to the office and she actually died in my arms as I’m walking across the parking lot
Such a great way for you to remember that day. We love our pets so much and they trust us 100%.As someone who grew up not having a dog or cat i never understood people getting so upset when they died. I never had a pet growing up and well into adulthood. Then my ex-wife’s cat (much to her dismay) adopted me and became my buddy. But after only a few short years she got sick and after months of treatment we had to finally put her down. That was twenty years ago. I am weeping as I type this.As someone who grew up not having a dog or cat i never understood people getting so upset when they died. When my girls were little we got them a puppy and then I totally got it. Had her for 15 years until she got sick. It was a weird day.
