Dylan - Blood, sweat and tears

I haven’t seen this called out (except buried in the annals of the game thread)

How about Dylan absolutely diving into the out of bounds to save an errant pass and a possession?

That dude has some dog in him! And more than that, he’s got pride. You don’t do that unless you’ve got pride.

It looks to me like he’s just putting it all out there. His blood and sweat so far. Let’s see if the tears come when it’s all said and done too (and, to be clear, I mean tears of exultation when he gets us to the mountain top)

I was very happy to see that. He had a rough start to the game defensively where he got beat once and outhustled for a rebound in another. loved to see him dive...huge.

Once he got a back door cut for a layup and Pike called a low post play for him and he scored he was a completely different player from a defensive standpoint and he seemed to have less pressure on himself.

We all want to see us win and so does Dylan, but fortunately/unfortunately he is playing for a draft spot too. It really sucks, but he knows he has to put up numbers.

Well the question is — do you take plays off on defense to preserve energy for offense? That’s the question.

Dylan seems to be putting in the work on both sides; major respect so far.

Eli Carter is a good example of taking plays off. Horrific defensive effort most games. But he could score the basketball.
